A renewed commitment to promoting professional excellence and enhancing the quality of Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) in Asia was established among the 28 member countries of WorldSkills Asia following the successful 8th WorldSkills Asia General Assembly in Taipei, Taiwan, held from November 20 to 22, 2024.

The two-day convention, held on 20-21 August 2024, wrapped up successfully after having accomplished its agenda of defining the competition’s parameters, establishing rules and procedures, selecting jury members, and deciding on future hosts.

The Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) successfully conducted the 2024 Philippine National Skills Competition (2024PNSC) on August 22-24, 2024.

The goal of One School One Country is to encourage cultural exchange and raise the skills profile of students from WorldSkills member countries.

At WorldSkills ASEAN 2025, visitors are encouraged to explore the different competition skill areas by engaging in Try-A-Skill Booths.

With interactive displays, live demos, and hands-on activities, the exhibition area is a dynamic learning hub where participants and guests can explore the latest cutting-edge technology and innovative solutions aimed at advancing technical education and skills development in the ASEAN Region.
