February 11-12 in Zamboanga City
Hosted by TESDA Region IX, the CPW brought together TESDA Regional and Provincial Directors, Technical Delegates, experts, and industry partners to align on event planning, strengthen the technical foundation of the competition, and ensure a smooth process for all 18 regions.
Deputy Director General for TESD Operations Vidal D. Villanueva III, Official Delegate of WorldSkills Philippines, led the event, highlighting the organization’s continued commitment to excellence in skills development.

The General Assembly was presided over by ROMO Executive Director David B. Bungallon, Chairperson of the Assembly, together with Technical Director and TESDA Region IV-A Regional Director Jovencio M. Ferrer, Jr., and WorldSkills Philippines Head Dexter C. Hulleza.
Participants were warmly welcomed by TESDA Region IX Acting Regional Director Allan T. Bacatan, setting a positive and inspiring tone for the gathering.

The program also included a welcome dinner sponsored by the City Mayor of Zamboanga and a lively fellowship night with music and dancing — a well-deserved break after intensive discussions.
Beyond competitions, TESDA and WorldSkills Philippines aim to empower Filipino youth, showing that skills are pathways to meaningful, lasting careers.
