April 16-21 in Germany
TESDA officials and personnel participated in Hannover Messe 2026 in Germany (April 16–21), the world’s leading platform for industrial transformation. With the theme “Think Tech Forward,” the event highlighted how industries are leveraging AI, automation, and smart technologies to navigate global challenges and drive innovation.

The delegation explored key exhibition areas showcasing emerging technologies, alongside innovative networking and collaboration opportunities. As part of the program, TESDA also visited the Festo Scharnhausen Plant and Gewerbliche Schule Göppingen, gaining valuable insights into Industry 4.0, smart manufacturing, and the German Dual Education System.
These engagements underscored the importance of strengthening industry-academe partnerships, integrating advanced technologies into training, and preparing a future-ready workforce equipped with digital, technical, and adaptive skills. Insights from the visit will support TESDA in enhancing its diploma programs, expanding industry-based training models, and integrating digital and AI-driven competencies into its curricula.



Led by Deputy Director General for Partnerships and Linkages Nelly Nita N. Dillera, TESDA’s participation further strengthens its partnership with Festo, a valued global partner in elevating the quality of TVET.
Also part of the delegation were Regional Operations Management Office Executive Director David B. Bugallon, TESDA IV-A Regional Director Jovencio M. Ferrer, Jr., National Skills Olympics and WorldSkills Philippines Section (NSOWPS) Chief Dexter C. Hulleza, and Niezza G. Soriano of NSOWPS Secretariat—bringing home valuable insights to strengthen industries and prepare the Filipino workforce for the future.
