Vice President for Competitions Pornrawee Nakpipat reported that this year’s competition brings together 320 competitors from 28 teams, representing 19 member countries and 11 non-member countries, competing in 36 official skills and 2 demo skills across six industries.
Since 2018, WSA has seen major growth—from 17 to 38 skill areas and from 64 to 297 competitors.
The Assembly also welcomed India and Qatar as new member countries after presenting their national TVET systems.

WSI CEO David Hoey shared updates on the WorldSkills Vision 2035, while industry partners Festo, Siemens, and BASF presented insights on excellence, innovation, and the future of digital skills.
The Philippines proudly fields six competitors in five skill areas this year.
