Technical Education and Skills Development Authority (TESDA) – WorldSkills Philippines successfully held the Diplomatic Protocol Training in preparation for the upcoming WorldSkills ASEAN Manila 2025.
The training, conducted in coordination with the Department of Foreign Affairs – Office of Protocol, was attended by key members of the National Organizing Committee. Held in two batches on June 25 and 26 at the Tandang Sora Hall, TESDA Women’s Center, Taguig City, the sessions aimed to equip participants with essential diplomatic and social protocol skills.






In his welcome message, Deputy Director General for TESD Operations Vidal D. Villanueva III encouraged everyone to fully embrace the training to ensure the highest level of professionalism and courtesy in hosting our ASEAN guests. Programs Sub-committee Lead, Executive Director Juliet O. Orozco, also highlighted the importance of upholding diplomatic protocols while proudly showcasing the unique Filipino brand of hospitality and service.

About WorldSkills ASEAN
WorldSkills ASEAN is the largest showcase of professional and technical skills in the ASEAN (The Association of Southeast Asian Nations) region and brings the objectives of the WorldSkills movement to Southeast Asia. The skills competition was initiated by an agreement among ASEAN Member States in 1993 and aims to promote and raise skills standards in the ASEAN region to an international level, as well as to motivate youths to develop their skills and knowledge. ASEAN Member States take turns to host the biennial WorldSkills ASEAN Competition.
